DALTON High Concentrates – concentrated serums with retinol, vitamin C, niacinamide, azelaic acid, ceramides and hyaluronic acid

Discover High Concentrates by DALTON Marine Cosmetics, a range of serums and boosters with concentrated active ingredients, created to personalise skincare according to current skin needs.

The range includes six concentrates for intensive hydration, visible pores, pigmentation, post-blemish marks, loss of firmness, wrinkles, a weakened skin barrier, redness or excess sebum.

Every formula combines an established active such as hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, ceramides, azelaic acid, vitamin C or retinol with a marine-derived ingredient and DALTON marine minerals.

The products have light, fast-absorbing textures. Apply before cream or, where product instructions allow, mix with your daily moisturiser.

Sublim3 is an official DALTON Marine Cosmetics distributor in Romania and offers original High Concentrates products developed and manufactured in Germany.

What are facial concentrates and boosters?

A High Concentrate is a light-textured cosmetic with a formula targeting one or more specific skin needs. Unlike a complete routine, concentrates are additional products combined with cream, serum or basic products your skin already tolerates.

You do not need all six concentrates together. Choose one or two according to your main routine goal and introduce actives gradually, especially on sensitive skin or if you are new to high concentrations.

Products in the DALTON High Concentrates range

Triple Hyaluronic Booster – for hydration and fine lines

High Concentrate Triple Hyaluronic Booster – Concentrated Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a hydrating booster with three types of hyaluronic acid and hydrating brown algae extract.

The three hyaluronic acid forms have different molecular sizes and complementary actions on skin. The formula helps hydrate the surface, replenish water reserves and visually smooth fine lines accentuated by dehydration.

Brown algae help skin retain hydration, while the fluid gel texture absorbs quickly and can also be used in sensitive skincare routines.

  • Suitable for dry, dehydrated skin or skin lacking suppleness.
  • Helps create a fuller, smoother appearance.
  • Contains 98% ingredients of natural origin.
  • The formula is fragrance-free.

Apply morning and evening to clean skin, then follow with moisturising cream. Alternatively, mix two to three drops with cream in your palm before application.

Niacinamide Serum 10% – for pores, pigmentation and uneven texture

Concentrated High Concentrate Niacinamide Serum 10% combines niacinamide, also known as vitamin B3, with green algae extract to care for skin with visible pores, uneven texture, pigmentation or post-blemish marks.

Niacinamide helps reduce the appearance of pores, even out skin tone and support natural ceramide production. Through this action, it also helps maintain a balanced skin barrier.

Green algae extract complements the formula by supporting the skin microbiome and an even complexion.

  • Suitable for enlarged pores and excess sebum.
  • Helps visually fade pigmentation and post-blemish marks.
  • Helps smooth skin texture.
  • Contains 88% ingredients of natural origin.
  • The formula is fragrance-free.

Apply morning or evening to the face, neck and décolletage, then follow with moisturising cream. For sensitive skin, start with two to three applications weekly.

Do not combine with 15% vitamin C serum, 10% azelaic acid serum or a chemical peel in the same routine. Use at different times of day or on alternate days.

5 Ceramide Serum – for the skin barrier and sensitive skin

Concentrated High Concentrate 5 Ceramide Serum is formulated for sensitive, dry or dehydrated skin or a weakened natural protective barrier.

The formula contains five ceramide types: NP, NG, AP, EOP and NS. Ceramides are lipids naturally present in the skin barrier, helping maintain hydration and protect against external factors.

Panthenol offers hydration and comfort, while golden algae help soothe visible redness and support the skin barrier.

  • Suitable for sensitive, dry or reactive skin.
  • Helps reduce skin tightness.
  • Helps retain hydration in skin.
  • Can be used when the barrier is weakened.
  • Contains 94% ingredients of natural origin.
  • The formula is fragrance-free.

Apply morning and evening to clean skin, then follow with moisturising cream. Also add a few drops directly to day or night cream, mixing in your palm.

Azelaic Acid Serum 10% – for imperfections, sebum and redness

Concentrated High Concentrate Azelaic Acid Serum 10% is designed for skin prone to imperfections, congested pores, excess sebum, post-blemish marks and an uneven or reddened appearance.

Azelaic acid helps balance sebum, keep pores clear and visibly reduce imperfections. Its gentle exfoliating action also helps gradually improve texture and skin tone.

Antioxidant green algae extract complements the formula and helps protect skin against oxidative stress.

  • Suitable for combination, oily or blemish-prone skin.
  • Helps balance excess sebum.
  • Helps reduce the appearance of blocked pores.
  • Helps even out post-blemish marks.
  • Can be introduced into redness-prone skincare according to tolerance.
  • Contains 99% ingredients of natural origin.
  • The formula is fragrance-free.

Start with two to three applications weekly, morning or evening, on clean skin. Follow with moisturising cream and increase gradually only if tolerated.

Excessive amounts or frequency may temporarily cause sensitivity, dryness or redness. Use sun protection with at least SPF 30 during the day.

Do not combine with retinol, high-concentration vitamin C, 10% niacinamide, chemical peels or other strong exfoliants in the same routine.

Vitamin C Serum 15% – for radiance, firmness and pigmentation

Concentrated High Concentrate Vitamin C Serum 15% combines 15% vitamin C with ferulic acid, microalgae and marine minerals.

The antioxidant formula helps neutralise free radicals, support natural skin collagen and improve the appearance of firmness. Consistent use helps restore radiance and visibly reduce pigmentation.

Ferulic acid complements antioxidant action, while microalgae help maintain elasticity and a revitalised appearance.

  • Suitable for dull skin lacking radiance.
  • Helps even out pigmentation.
  • Supports firm, elastic-looking skin.
  • Helps protect skin against oxidative stress.
  • Contains 97% ingredients of natural origin.
  • The formula has no added fragrance.

Apply morning or evening to clean skin, then continue your routine. Alternatively, mix two to three drops with moisturising cream.

The formula may naturally have a botanical, slightly spicy scent because it contains no added fragrance.

Do not combine with 10% niacinamide, 10% azelaic acid or chemical peels in the same routine. In the morning, apply sun protection after serum and cream.

Retinol Serum – for wrinkles, pigmentation and skin renewal

Concentrated High Concentrate Retinol Serum combines retinol and retinal with a maritime ingredient derived from sea fennel.

The combination of vitamin A forms helps support skin renewal, smooth wrinkles and improve texture. The formula also helps visibly reduce pigmentation, post-blemish marks and uneven tone.

Sea fennel complements retinoid action and is used as a marine equivalent of vitamin A in the DALTON formula.

  • Especially suitable for normal, combination or oily skin.
  • Helps smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Helps even out skin texture and tone.
  • Helps fade pigmentation and post-blemish marks.
  • Contains 95% ingredients of natural origin.
  • The formula is fragrance-free.

Apply only in the evening, initially two to three times weekly. If tolerated, increase to three to four weekly applications. Always follow with moisturising cream.

Alternatively, mix two to three drops into evening cream. Avoid the eye area, corners of the nose and lips.

Do not combine with concentrated azelaic acid, chemical peels or other retinoids in the same routine. Apply broad-spectrum sun protection with at least SPF 30 daily.

Do not use retinol or retinal products during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

How do you choose the right concentrate?

  • For dehydration and fine lines, choose Triple Hyaluronic Booster.
  • For visible pores, sebum and pigmentation, choose Niacinamide Serum 10%.
  • For a weakened skin barrier, sensitivity and dryness, choose 5 Ceramide Serum.
  • For imperfections, congested pores, sebum and post-blemish marks, choose Azelaic Acid Serum 10%.
  • For radiance, pigmentation and antioxidant protection, choose Vitamin C Serum 15%.
  • For wrinkles, uneven texture and signs of photoageing, choose Retinol Serum.

How do you introduce actives into your routine?

  1. Start with one concentrate chosen for the main need.
  2. Use two to three times weekly if skin is sensitive or unfamiliar with the active.
  3. Increase frequency only if persistent irritation, severe flaking or discomfort do not occur.
  4. Apply products from the most fluid to the richest texture.
  5. Allow each layer to absorb before applying the next.
  6. Finish with moisturising cream.
  7. Use sun protection daily, especially with retinol, azelaic acid or vitamin C.

Correct application order

  1. Make-up removal and cleansing;
  2. toner;
  3. High Concentrate;
  4. usual serum if needed;
  5. eye cream;
  6. face cream;
  7. sun protection in the morning.

When using two compatible formulas together, apply the more watery texture first. For sensitive skin, it is preferable to alternate concentrates rather than layer several actives together.

Frequently asked questions about DALTON High Concentrates

Do I need all six concentrates?

No. Choose the product suited to your skin's main need. More actives applied together do not automatically mean better results and can increase sensitisation risk.

Should concentrate be applied before or after cream?

Usually apply concentrate after cleansing and toner, before cream. Some products can be mixed with cream directly in your palm, following each formula's instructions.

Can I combine two High Concentrates?

Yes, but only if the ingredients are compatible and tolerated. For a safer routine, use one in the morning and another in the evening or alternate days.

Which products suit sensitive skin?

Triple Hyaluronic Booster and 5 Ceramide Serum are the most suitable starting points for sensitive skin. Introduce more active ingredients such as retinol, azelaic acid, 15% vitamin C and 10% niacinamide gradually.

Can I use hyaluronic acid and ceramides together?

Yes. Triple Hyaluronic Booster hydrates, while 5 Ceramide Serum supports the skin barrier. Apply the more fluid texture first and finish with cream.

Should retinol be applied in the morning?

No. Apply retinol serum in the evening. During the day, use broad-spectrum sun protection with at least SPF 30.

Can I use vitamin C serum in the morning?

Yes. Apply vitamin C in the morning before cream and sun protection. Also use in the evening, but not alongside the incompatible ingredients specified by DALTON.

Is azelaic acid suitable for sensitive skin?

Many skin types may tolerate it well, but introduce the 10% concentration gradually. Start with two to three uses weekly and stop if persistent irritation occurs.

Is sun protection essential?

Yes. Sun protection is recommended daily and becomes essential when a routine includes retinol, azelaic acid, vitamin C or chemical exfoliants.

Can I use retinol during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

No. Do not use retinol or retinal products during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

What should I do if skin becomes irritated?

Pause actives temporarily and simplify to gentle cleansing, hydration and sun protection. For severe or persistent irritation or associated lesions, seek advice from a dermatologist.
